Summer in Dublin

Hello and happy Sunday! Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I have lived in Dublin for 13 years and looking through old blog posts I don't think I ever wrote about what to do in Dublin. So for anyone who is interested, keep reading! Dublin is a place I love and will always love. It has the best restaurants & cafes filled with good food and even better atmosphere.

One of my favourite things to do at weekends is to meet up with friends and go for brunch. Sometimes we spend 2 hours; sometimes we spend 8 hours! That is the beauty of brunch! A few favourites include: Grove Road, Food Game, Coppinger Row, Fia and Hatch & Sons for brunch. And it is even harder to name restaurants for dinner, but Hugo's, Rasam, Gallot et Gray and Bastible have never let me down!

Aside from eating or shopping and if you are feeling a little more active there are lots of parks including Stephen's Green, Iveagh Gardens and Herbert Park to hang out on a sunny day. You can play tennis in Herbert Park on a pay-as-you-go rate so you don't need a membership. For anyone who loves being next to the coast, you really aren't too far away from Sandymount strand, and if you take the DART you literally have a whole selection of stops that I love including Dalkey and Killiney. Or a little further and you reach Greystones! My aunt and cousins lived there so I've always great memories of summer visits.

I wore this outfit for a night out with friends, and it's my new favourite go to when having an "I don't know what to wear" moment. The shorts and jacket are both from H&M. They are still in stock now, but the great thing is, so many shops including Zara have pretty much the same items.

Have a great week!
